Illegal Firearms

This sign is posted on the courtyard adjacent a school nearby — on the weekends it’s used for a small flea market. I’ve always been intrigued by that last item, barring “illegal firearms within 500 feet.”

I’ll be sure not to walk down this street with MY illegal firearms — as a law-abiding citizen of DC, I want to be sure I carry them only in areas where illegal firearms are permitted.

Maybe the city provides a map.
