Safe at Last

After 35 years of constant fear in Montreal, not knowing where to go in case I needed protection from radiation, I now have the peace of mind found only in the U.S.: my own fallout shelter just a few blocks away.

I suppose I shouldn’t be so flippant — now that I’m in the states, who knows, I may need it some day.
