Actually it’s not a real person, it’s a completely flat cutout, glued to the floor. It was part of some advertising campaign. Immediately out of frame on the left was a standup poster for what I can’t remember exaclty — maybe a cell phone service provider. Part of the ad’s text was some reference to not being trampled by the competition.
