Great shot! How do you capture the sunburst effect?

No fancy tricks to get a starburst like that. I just composed the shot so that the sun was right on the edge of the sculpture and the camera lens’ optics naturally create that effect.

Actually, now that I think of it… There is a standard UV filter on the lens, which I keep on at all times to keep me from inadvertently scratching the lens.

Maybe that helped to create the sunburst.
