From the little bit I've read, the Park hosts dances and gives classes in some of the buildings, but the only remaining operating ride is the Carousel. What little I know I read in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Echo_Park%2C_Maryland" rel="nofollow">the wikipedia entry</a>. Oh and yes, the gallery feature is new from today! Is Glen Echo just a museum in the National Park? From the other photos, I realized it's hardly a living amusement park! Maybe that's what will happen to La Ronde in a few years! It's a great little place to stroll around. I'd like to get back up there at some point to shoot more photos using my DSLR. Only had my little camera with me on this trip. Hahaha – indeed!
