Cement Truck
Wow. They really, really, really love the flag here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cement truck painted as the Canadian flag, but maybe that’s because I grew up in Quebec (but then I haven’t seen a fleur-de-lys truck in Montreal before). Maybe there are Canadian-flag-painted trucks all over the rest of Canada.

Over the past 20 years in southern Ontario, I have never seen a cement truck outfitted as a Canadian flag. I wonder what it looks like when the cylinder is rotating. I wonder what it cost to decorate the truck that way. Maybe the guy has patriotic, truck-painter friends. Maybe it only happens inside the Beltway. Or maybe he’s an immigrant from Texas.

I live in BC and went down to spend the day in Washington state and I remember seeing a mail box outfitted as an American flag. I have travelled and lived all over Canada and have never seen a mail box outfitted as a Canadian flag. This has to be an American thing. Cool huh? :D
