DC + Spring = Flowers

It’s very confusing.  I grew up in Montreal with curbside piles of filthy melting snow slowly unveiling more and more dog shit that had not been picked up by people, as the standard sign that spring had arrived. Here there are pretty flowering trees.

I’m not sure which I prefer.
