DC Snow
I would not have taken this photo living in Montreal, where I was born (in the aftermath of a winter storm) and where this kind of thing happens all the time, sometimes in April. But this is my fourth winter here in DC, and scenes like this are rare. I will confess that I very much wanted to flip this image and call it “The Mark of Snorro,” but that would be cheating, and where horrible puns are concerned, there can be no cheating.

Well, the pun IS bad, but “S” would BE the mark of “Snorro!” (Would you consider it cheating to re-caption the photo?)

Ahhhh I must have been sleepy when I posted this. Of course “S” would be the mark of Snorro. Oh well. I don’t feel it would be cheating too badly to re-title the photo, but after this much time, the pun feels so bad that I shall leave it to reside only in the comments.

True, ’tis wise to let sleepy puns (zzzzz…) lie.
