Well, it was pretty loud at Dundas and Yonge in Toronto! Even the Canadians got excited, and somewht, er, loud.

That Was Close

The American’s love invading. Iraq, Afghanistan, the Canadian Embassy in DC to watch Olympic hockey games. Here I thought the Embassy would be a great, safe place to watch the game amidst an overwhelmingly pro-Canadian crowd, but at least half the crowd was supporting the US (it’s hard to tell for sure, since they’re so much louder by nature).

Here’s a 17-second slice of hell we Canadians endured when they tied the game with a little over 24 seconds to play in regulation. Thank god we got it done in OT.
