Vague Recollections

Air Miles To Nowhere

by Henry Cloud

Excerpts

“One time I was riding a bus and I could smell garbage. But the street outside was clean, so, it seemed a bit strange. There was a girl with pink hair next to me. Or, at least, there was something pink… it may have been a watermelon. Maybe the watermelon had gone bad. Unless it was a girl, and not a watermelon.”

“What was that guy’s name again? Was it “Carl”? Or was that Dad’s name? Anyway, there was a guy, and he was covered in dirt, so he must have been a gardener. But he never said anything. Maybe he was dead. Maybe I was an undertaker. I think it was a Tuesday.”

~

“I went to college, I’m pretty sure. I remember a blackboard, definitely.”
